Bringing a new look to the media industry
Nia's passion for communication and storytelling has propelled her career in Mass Communications, where she has gained extensive experience in high-profile roles.
After developing her production skills at POLYTECH High School, where she became the school’s weather girl and mastered tools like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro, Nia went on to pursue a degree in Mass Communications.
In 2022, Nia graduated Cum Laude from Delaware State University with a double concentration in Digital Media and Public Relations and Advertising. During her time at DSU, she and her team won a $40,000 Production Grant from Coca-Cola and the Academy, which supported creative media projects. She also contributed to Jamila’s Jams in New York, expanding her network and reinforcing her passion for storytelling.
Since graduation, Nia has worked in a range of impactful roles. She currently serves as a Social Media Producer and Advisor for the Philadelphia Foreign Academy, where she oversees and strategizes content across platforms to amplify the team’s presence. She also previously worked as a production assistant with NFL Films in New Jersey, contributing to major productions such as Hard Knocks in Season with the Arizona Cardinals on HBO, the Playoffs, the Super Bowl, 30 for 30 and many other major projects.
In 2024 in addition to her sports media work, Nia expanded her portfolio to the political sphere as Road Production Associate for the Biden Harris Campaign before the switch to the Harris for President Campaign. Towards the end of the campaign, Nia served as the Vertical Video Producer for the Harris Walz Campaign (formerly known as the Harris for President Campaign). In this role, she continued to oversee road production team logistics and oversaw the creation of engaging, platform-specific video content to reach and engage voters across social media channels.
Nia is always seeking to expand her expertise in producing, writing, and researching, striving to bring fresh perspectives to every project.
