Meet Nia.

Where Black Girl Magic meets the lens.

The Director

Nia is a creative director and media producer with a sharp eye for storytelling and a heart for visual connection. Her work spans politics, sports, and digital branding — from Emmy-winning projects to grassroots campaigns.

She recently served as the Digital Director for Lee Johnson for U.S. Senate, leading creative strategy in one of the toughest battlegrounds: South Carolina. Before that, she worked as Road Production Associate turned Vertical Video Producer for the Harris-Walz Presidential Campaign, where she started by helping organize the road team with digital events to cover on the campaign trail before she started to help shape social content for major figures like Vice President Kamala Harris, Barack Obama, Victoria Monét, and Fat Joe.

In sports media, Nia contributed to several major productions at NFL Films, including Hard Knocks In Season on HBO (Arizona Cardinals season), 30 for 30: The Minister of Defense (about Reggie White), and a variety of long-form and live projects in-house. She also led creative strategy as Social Media Producer for Philadelphia Foreign FC (formerly Foreign Academy FC), a soccer team in Philly’s CASA League. There, she rebranded the team’s entire digital presence — launching new logos, managing game-day coverage, growing their social following, and creating culturally relevant, high-quality content that matched the team’s voice and vision.

The Purpose

Nia creates with intention. Her purpose is to make content that connects — the kind of work that feels like something. Whether it’s a short film, a political ad, or a rebrand for a local team, she believes every project should look good, sound good, and feel right.

With a background that blends digital strategy, production, and creative direction, she brings both structure and soul to her work. She values clarity, creativity, and people — and she’s always chasing the balance between excellence and authenticity.

For Nia, it's never just about creating content — it's about making moments that matter.

The Passion

Nia’s passion for storytelling runs deep — and it started early. At POLYTECH High School, she studied Broadcast Media and became the school’s weather girl, kicking off her love for editing, hosting, and production. During high school, she had multiple internships, one being The Delaware State News and got hired as a Live Producer at City Hall in Dover, Delaware at the age of 17. Nia was also the only student from Delaware selected to attend GRAMMY Camp in Los Angeles, where she specialized in Music Journalism and got hands-on experience covering artists and music professionals.

She later attended Delaware State University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a double concentration in Digital Media and Public Relations & Advertising. Always ahead of her time, Nia helped produce live sports broadcasts for football and basketball, ran wires on the sidelines, and even hosted college halftime shows on ESPN+.

She also rebooted DESU-TV, the campus station, from the ground up — rebuilding its Instagram presence and co-producing segments like Around Campus and Drip Cam. As a student, she and her team won a $40,000 Production Grant from Coca-Cola and The Academy, and their project went on to win an Emmy Award.
